Hello , my name is Melanie, my friends just call me Mel.

I was born in 1971 in Germany.
My true passion are OOAKs though in ‘real life’ I´m working at the office of an foodstuffs producer.
I have always loved fashion dolls and have been collecting them since I was 15 years old.

Not only do I collect OOAK dolls but since March 2003 I´ve been creating OOAK dolls myself. My other hobbies beside dolls are my three lovely Maine Coon cats and collecting racoon figurines and items.

The creations of Elaine Donovan, Laurie Leigh, Jennifer Sutherland, Michelle James, Becky Martinez, Joe Bourland and Kedra Manning inspired me and I adore their works. They all are fabulous/outstanding artists and have always been very helpful. I would like to say to all these ladies “Thank You!”. Thanks for your helpful tips, comments and encouragements.
